THE YOUTH WILL
LEAD THE CHANGE.
She is set on a mission to make a difference in her community one step at a time. Waimānalo, Hawai'i is her home, and she intends to lead the way to make an impact and create change. Empowering those around her to help those less fortunate keiki and their ʻohana through her annual Christmas project. With just a Little Bit Aloha...it can happen!

"I say this because I know what I have planned for you," says the Lord. "I have good plans for you. I don't plan to hurt you. I plan to give you hope and a good future. Then you will call my name. You will come to me and pray to me. And I will listen to you. You will search for me. And when you search for me with all your heart, you will find me!"
Jeremiah 29:11-13

WHAT WE DO
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

2015 Outreach program: waimĀnalo

{ 1 }
choosing the foundations
Payton and her ʻohana look into different local foundations and organizations throughout Hawai‘i that contribute and help those in need. They contact the foundations and organizations to collaborate in the upcoming project. Together they gather their community resources on how they can help to contribute with either gifts, necessities, food and meals. Both will then hand in hand start the necessary planning of the project and open it up to those in need in the community.

{ 2 }
Youth leadership

The volunteers, donators, and organizations that elect to contribute their time to make a difference will be notified of the project details and day of preperation. When that time comes, they will be able to participate and see our youth leadership come together to deliver a Little Bit Aloha to all the keiki and their ʻohana.
{ 3 }
Making that difference
Little Bit Aloha and organizations who provide toy drives will distribute and market all pertinent information needed to start preparation for toy collection. Donors will now have the option to purchase a new unwrapped toy/gift, necessities, or make a monetary donation. When the deadline reaches, Payton, along with her committee members will pick up at designated drop off locations or arrange pick up times.Next they will sort, label, and wrap the gift with her signature red bow, and store the donations till the project date occurs.

{ 4 }
Being the Change

This is when it gets real and personal, where the youth can really make a difference in someoneʻs life. The organizations along with Payton, her ʻohana, and volunteers personally delivers the Little Bit Aloha toys, gifts, food, and meals to the designated project location in the community. All the details have already been worked out for the day and now is where Little Bit Aloha stands apart from the rest. We truly can grasp onto and physically see what we are doing and the impact it creates to help put some hope and faith back into a child or ʻohanaʻs life. Being that change to help and knowing that, can make all the diference.
{ 5 }
Project Evaluation
Payton and ʻohana will look back, reflect, review, and evaluate the project. Finding ways to grow, inspire, create, and better what can be done in the future. We will post pictures, video's, and testimonies from volunteers as well as recipients. At this time we also update our website and send out personalized mahalo cards, and spread the word of what Little Bit Aloha and Payton's mission is all about.

Next. . .

It's back to the hustle of prepping for the next project. We update all marketing and material for the following year for the next project. Help Payton spread the word to make it possible and make a difference. With just a Little Bit Aloha it will go a long way !
